Dr. Khachikian and his staff were a practiced and well-working team! I never waited more than a few minutes; I was always attended to by the next BHEI team member, one-after-the other as I was tested, prepared, and moved along toward surgery; and every single one was friendly and assuring! I was prepped over the phone beforehand and I never arrived at BHEI wondering what was expected of me. Dr. Khachikian, himself, was kind, friendly, and thorough. And here, 9-days out from the first cataract surgery, that eye is already seeing 20/15, with my second eye doing well and showing the same positive progress. To summarize, I watched my NHL team play hockey last night and the white ice on the television screen no longer cast a large, white, distracting, and annoying gloom through which I had to previously stare. My only complaint is that my team lost, but I suppose that is beyond what Dr. Khachikian has influence over! ;-) Thank you, Dr. Khachikian and BHEI team for getting back great eyesight! You have chosen a Noble Profession!

From the schedulers, to the Nurses, I knew my eye Dr. sent me to the right place. The nurses were so kind and so gentle. They helped me with my anxiety. Then on to Dr. Stephen Khachikian, Kind, gentle and intelligent. He fixed my vision! It is so nice to be able to read a book again. Do yourself a favor, give his office a call. He does Eye surgery in Spearfish, I believe once a month.

Actual experience during the surgery with Dr. Khachikian, MD and now the 6th day after the second eye recovery has been positive. I experienced minimal pain during and following surgery.
